What Will You Do?

· Designs and manages multiple projects, including but not limited to web site design, digital creative assets, email communications, videos, brochures, signage, advertising layouts, packaging, presentation materials, event design, logo design,

· Quickly develops concept mockups to visualize new ideas in context.

· Experience creating or coordinating content development is a plus.

· Work closely with the Creative Director to create and execute effective, innovative ideas that support the Legrand brand identity.

· Collaborate with Marketing Communications professionals, providing content and design expertise and technical knowledge to accomplish the desired look and feel of marketing materials.

· Generate ideas, mock-ups, prototypes to help address current projects in cycle.

· Partner with outside vendors and agencies in order to achieve on-brand and best-in-class designs.

· Build out graphic identity systems that roll-up to the Legrand brand and brand guidelines.

· Maintain, enhance and adhere to Legrand’s Brand Guidelines.

· Coordinate the design needs of multiple business groups in a globalized environment and deliver within schedule and resource constraints.

· Effectively communicate and collaborate with stake holders at all levels at Legrand.

· Work successfully in a multi-project, deadline driven and time sensitive environment.

· Identify and share design trends that contribute to better creative problem solving.

· Motion graphics experience is a + (Develop motion graphics, animated content and video for web pages, internal presentations and trade shows.)

· Develops designs and manages multiple projects, related to alignment of UI appearance, email communications, videos, brochures, signage, advertising layouts, packaging, presentation materials, event design, logo design, stationery, etc.

· Designs for the needs of multiple business units in a global environment.

· Quickly develops concept mockups to visualize new ideas in context.

· Designs for and supports updates to the Legrand brand guidelines.

· Contributes to the user experience and visual design of the Legrand website and all Legrand brand websites and digital materials.

· Adheres to brand usage; monitoring global MarCom team projects to maintain consistency and brand identity.

· Coordinates with Marketing vendors; oversee and coordinate the production process.

· Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Qualifications

Skills/Abilities:

· Experience and passion for working in a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

· Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus, extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.

· Must possess excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage to a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines and control a number of projects at various stages of work.

· Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.

· Comfortable developing and giving presentations to peers and executives.

 

Education: BFA or BA in graphic design or related area.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience working in graphic design or related field.

 

Technical Knowledge:

· Expertise of software programs: Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator. Bonus++ if you have After Effects/Premiere knowledge. Also Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, as well as a working understanding of HTML.

· Ability to use internet and web based resources efficiently and effectively. Proficiency with various e-mail, calendaring, meeting management and related communications software.
