Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented team player who is well organized to assist in our marketing initiatives and lead generation efforts. The Marketing Specialist's focus is to support marketing activities including product launches, campaigns, web enhancements, collateral development, advertising and events and utilize marketing expertise to help develop and execute marketing programs that will increase demand and drive revenue. This role will support all the business units within the DPC division.

What Will You Do?



MAIN JOB DUTIES:

  • Actively participates in the execution of marketing communications plans designed to meet lead generation and digital goals. These initiatives include PR, web, email, advertising, and other offline or online activities.
  • Works closely with product teams to bring products to market - coordinates the launch plan and tactic development, including product literature, videos, digital assets, and web pages.
  • Works with the graphic design team, printers, ad agencies and Marcom team to develop, maintain and enhance marketing materials.
  • Researches, maintains, and reports on marketing data to aid management in determining marketing direction and media placement.
  • Coordinates and organizes advertising schedules across multiple business units.
  • Represents the DPC Division in cross-brand teams, collaborating and executing divisional and corporate projects as necessary.
  • Manages inventory levels and coordinates the production and/or reprinting of print collateral and promotional items as needed.
  • Manages monthly expenses and tracks utilization of budget.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.
  • Qualifications
    Required Skills

    EDUCATION:
    • Minimum, Bachelors Degree in Communications or Marketing

    EXPERIENCE:
    • 3+ years Marketing Communications experience

    SKILLS/KNOWELDGE/ABILITIES:
    • Requires strong organizational and time management skills, highly detailed oriented and be able to effectively handle multiple projects and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must have excellent written and proofreading skills, knowledge to evaluate/edit written marketing communications copy and messaging, knowledge of marketing tools such as direct mail, PR, advertising, social media and online/digital marketing assets. Understanding of media planning a plus.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills required to interact with Marketing Directors, Divisional Marcom Managers, outside suppliers. Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.
    • Ability to multi-task and operate within a matrix organization is a plus.
    • Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus, extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.
    • Will need to evaluate situations, identify options, and implement effective solutions efficiently. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize, and accomplish a diversified workload.
    • Able to create effective reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
