At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Director, Infrastructure Service Delivery Americas to join the Legrand, North & Central America Team from a Remote Location. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to Group Infrastructure Operations Manager (France) the Director, Infrastructure Service Delivery will lead a team in the delivery and execution of regional infrastructure services and operations for Legrand Americas. This includes ensuring alignment of infrastructure operational performance to business needs, full compliance to Group infrastructure standards & rules for security and continuity, service level performance measurement and continuous improvement, and management of budget and resources. The role will have a dotted line accountability to the Legrand North and Central Americas CIO for regional operational and service performance.

What Will You Do?

MAIN JOB DUTIES:

  • Ensure a stable, reliable, safe, secure, scalable, and extensible environment for the continuous operation of our global infrastructure & applications which rely upon it, with minimal unplanned downtime
  • Utilize & help develop IT operational and service performance metrics; monitor and continuously improve
  • Build and maintain a high performing team and achieving high employee engagement within the infrastructure & operations function
  • Achieve & maintain high customer satisfaction on services provided by infrastructure & operations function
  • Report operational & service performance to the CIO of LNCA, Brazil, Colombia...

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Health & Performance
  • Ensure successful execution of all IT infrastructure service delivery and infrastructure operations
  • Work closely with regional businesses & applications teams to ensure strategies for infrastructure align with application strategies and business goals
  • Monitor & Report Infrastructure Operational performance and continuously improve in the context of according to agreed SLAs & SLOs
  • Utilize & evolve operations performance dashboards/reports to drive improvement actions
  • Collaborate across corporate and regional teams to implement ITIL process discipline
  • Seek feedback from the consumers of the IT infrastructure & operations services


Application of Group Policies & Standards
  • Deploy & enforce full compliance to Group cyber security policy & charter
  • Deploy & enforce full compliance of Group Infrastructure Standards
  • Report any divergence & propose corrective action plans


Change Management
  • Manage operational change requests
  • Manage the validation of transition from project to operations
  • Communicate change impacts to affected employee populations

Budget Preparation & Follow-up
  • Prepare budget according to needs collected from the country teams and from global teams
  • Track & report actual expenses versus budget


Problem Resolution & Management
  • Manage regional Problem Management process - ensuring a strong collaboration with global infrastructure teams and country businesses
  • Ensure root cause analysis & track improvement plans.

External Partners Performance & Contract Management
  • Participate in the proposal, selection & validation of external partners
  • Manage the contracts, the reporting of performance versus SLAs/SLOs & drive improvement
  • Ensure their compliance to Global Service Commitments, Policies & Standards


Documentation
  • Ensure the Technical documentation is accurate & available to defined collaborators


Qualifications
Required Skills

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. Masters of Science a plus.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in an infrastructure management position for a global organization
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing an infrastructure services organization in a global environment, required.

SKILLS/KNOWELDGE/ABILITIES:
  • Leadership - management of internal and external teams
  • Team player - capability to work within an international team in a matrix environment
  • Communication & Executive Management Presence
  • Customer Service Mindset
  • Technical - cyber security, network, servers & storage, cloud, and ITIL processes
